George John Bitar M.D. is an American board certified cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon in solo private practice. Dr. Bitar obtained his medicaldegree from George Washington University School of Medicine inWashington, DC and finished a general surgery residency at the AlbertEinstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. As a continued commitment of enhancing thequality of life through plastic surgery, Dr. Bitar has volunteered onmedical missions to various countries and operated on children withsevere burn, facial and hand deformities. He volunteers on the medicalschool admissions committee at George Washington University. Dr. George Bitar is also fluent in French and Arabic.

To provide his patients with high quality cosmetic surgery, Dr. Bitarcompleted a cosmetic and breast surgery fellowship in the United Statesat a prestigious Cosmetic Surgery Center with ten board-certifiedplastic surgeons. Internationally, he trained with some very prominentcosmetic surgeons, and learned the techniques of Dr. Ivo Pitanguy, thefather of Brazilian cosmetic surgery, in Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Marchac,in Paris, Dr. Mendelson in Melbourne, Dr. Widgerow in Johannesburg, Dr.Giampapa in New York, and Dr. Ellenbogen in Beverly Hills. With thisinternational training, Dr. Bitar has assimilated the secrets of theseprominent cosmetic surgeons in offering each patient an individualizedtreatment plan.
